Search and filter by brand, origin, wrapper, strength and size, and sort by top rated, A–Z, price per stick or newest review.
- ⭐ Scores from free review sites1,000+ cigars carry scores from halfwheel, Blind Man's Puff, Cigar Coop and Cigar Dojo, each linked to its review. The badge is the plain average. A cigar nobody has reviewed shows no score: the app never invents one.
- 👅 Tasting profilesAbout 1,000 cigars have a tasting profile with flavor notes, plus strength and body where reviewers gave them, credited to the review sites.
- 📷 Band scannerSnap one cigar or a whole row. It reads every band in the photo and matches each one to the database with a match percentage. The photo isn't saved: it's deleted after the search. The scanner has a daily limit for everyone combined, so it can run out late in the day.
- 👍 Likes and My HumidorThumbs up or down on any cigar. Either one marks it Tried, and My Humidor filters All, Liked, Disliked, Tried and Not tried, with dates. Your votes stay on your phone.
- 🏷️ Sales and new arrivalsFrom Holt's, Neptune Cigar, Cigars Daily and 2 Guys Cigars, plus dated CigarPage promos. Prices are shown as each shop lists them, out-of-stock items are hidden, and it refreshes at 7 AM, 1 PM and 7 PM Central.

Yes. No sign-up and no account. If you'd like to help, donate with PayPal. Never required.
Where do the scores come from?
From four free review sites: halfwheel, Blind Man's Puff, Cigar Coop and Cigar Dojo, each stored as published and linked to its review. The badge is the plain average. Cigars without a review show no score. Paywalled outlets aren't used.
How does the band scanner work?
Tap the camera button on the Cigars tab and photograph one cigar or several. It reads each band, left to right, and matches it to the database with a match percentage. Readings are labeled unverified, so check the match. The photo isn't saved: it's deleted after the search. The reader runs on Google's free Gemini service, which may use what it's sent to improve its products, so scan cigar bands, not people. There's a daily limit for everyone combined.
Where are my likes saved?
On your phone. There's no account, so they don't follow you to a new phone.
Which shops are in Deals?
Holt's, Neptune Cigar, Cigars Daily and 2 Guys Cigars, plus dated CigarPage promos. Prices are as each shop lists them, and out-of-stock items are hidden. Deals refresh at 7 AM, 1 PM and 7 PM Central. Prices change fast, so confirm on the shop's page.
Are the magazine ads paid?
The retailer ad pages are built from the shops' current deals, the same data as the Deals tab. Tap Dat Ash is independent and not affiliated with any brand, magazine or retailer.
When does a new issue come out?
At the start of each month, Central time. Back issues stay in the issue picker.
How do I get the newest version?
